Discover the vibrant culture and history of Indonesia with this stunning 2,000 Rupiah banknote, part of the latest 2022 series! This crisp Uncirculated (UNC) note is a beautiful addition for any world currency collector or enthusiast of Southeast Asian art and heritage.
The front proudly features a detailed portrait of Mohammad Hoesni Thamrin, a revered Indonesian politician and national hero. Alongside him, you'll find the Indonesian coat of arms (Garuda Pancasila), a stylized Champak flower, and a map of the Indonesian archipelago, all set against intricate traditional patterns.
The reverse comes alive with a dynamic depiction of the Tari Piring (Plate Dance), a traditional dance from West Sumatra. In the background, the breathtaking Ngarai Sianok (Sianok Canyon) landscape is beautifully rendered. A prominent orange Champak flower adds a splash of color to this culturally rich design.
This banknote is not just currency; it's a piece of art showcasing Indonesia's national pride, natural beauty, and rich traditions. Printed by PERURI, it incorporates modern security features (actual features may vary based on Bank Indonesia specifications).
